学习时间:指定科目的一对一教导以个人学习的进度与适应度。每个孩子都有自己的个性与学习进度 Learning Time: 1-to-1 Guidance for chosen subjects bases on individual pace and adaptability. Every child is different in personality and learning pace

注意力消退阶段 Lost Concentration Period

根据研究,孩子年纪越大,注意力持续时间越长。我们相应地观察与评估孩子的注意力水平。 Studies show that children attention span gets betters with age. We monitor and evaluate their concentration level accordingly.

依据研究发现: According to research:

4-6岁 years old 10-15 分钟 min

7-10岁 years old 15-20 分钟 min

10-12岁 years old 25-30 分钟 min

12岁以上 years old above > 30 分钟 min

集中力恢复时间 Recharge and restore focus time

帮助孩子们恢复集中力 To help children regain their concentration.

如不提供休息时间,孩子们会变得以消极和死记硬背的方式来学习,影响了学习效率。根据孩子心理学研究,时间久了,孩子们还可能会抗拒学习。 Without resting time, children will resort to passive and rote learning which reduces learning effectiveness. It may even cause children to resist learning over time, as shown by numerous studies on children’s psychology.

在这期间,孩子们可以选择他们有兴趣的项目,如阅读故事书、音频与视频活动、游戏、手工、休息等等。 During this period, children are allowed to choose the activities they are interested in, such as reading storybooks, audio-visual activities, games, craft or rest and etc.

复习与强化所学 Revision and Reinforce learning

恢复孩子们的集中力。 Reason to regain their concentration.

人类记忆有短期与长期之分。为了让新知识能够从短期记忆被传送到长期记忆,我们必须以小量的资讯来重复复习与强化。 Human memory is categorized into short-term and long-term memory. We need to revise and reinforce the information we receive in small quantity but repeatedly so that this newly acquired information can be transferred from short-term memory to long-term memory.

这就是为什么我们比较注重于把学生真正地教会多过迅速地把课程教完。 This is the reason we lay emphasis on teaching students until they have really learned rather than about racing in completing the syllabus.

促进阅读与理解 Promote Reading and Understanding

重于日常生活中的意思和理解。 Emphasize on meaning and understanding for daily application.

让学到的东西可以适合地运用在课外的练习与作业,包括校内、活动、兴趣与社交。 To relate to the scope of study and their further practise and assignment, either in school, in co-curriculum, further interest and social.

这让他们变得更有学问或能再学习其它项目、兴趣与活动。 This allow them to be more literacy to learn other subjects, other interests, others activities.
